Dalian Qihua Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called Dalian Qihua ), whose main focus is on production and sales of high-quality epoxy resins, is a comprehensive enterprise in high-tech chemicals with a stock system . Dalian Qihua, with the value of fixed assets 31 million USD and total assets 87 million USD and the sales income 75 million USD per year, has 450 employees, of whom 20 are postgraduates and 80 are senior engineers. In 2003, Dalian Qihua acquired the approval of ISO9001 International Quality Administration System.

    Dalian Qihua has achieved great success in last 3 years since its plant went into operation that was set up with the adoption of the newest technology developed by Tohto Kasei. The plant has the biggest reactor throughout the world, which can guarantee high quality of products and produce liquid, solid, and brominated epoxy resins with a throughput of 40 kt, 5 kt, and 15 kt per year respectively. Dalian Qihua has the single-set product line with the largest throughput all over the world, which can reach 20,000 tons annually and is also ranked in the national guidance program “Two-High & One-Perfect” for technical renovation .On the constant research, its engineering technicians have independently completed the technical renovation in upgrading the throughput, and solved the technical problems of the imported core equipment. Dalian Qihua has been leading China in producing epoxy resins.

     There are five series, including 57 types, of epoxy resins in the production: 13 types of liquid resins, 18 types of solid resins, 4types of brominated resins, 6 types of semi-solid resins and 16 types of epoxy solutions and solid solutions. Thereinto, 17 types of high-quality epoxy resins have occupied the domestic markets, and been sold to over ten countries such as Korea, Germany, Pakistan and Iran, with whom Dalian Qihua has established the stable and friendly relationship. Compared with other structural composites, the products have more reliable quality and more stable performances.
